Start your scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. The 9-hour drive takes you through rolling hills, lively roadside markets, tea plantations, and forests teeming with birdlife and primates. Arrive in the serene village of Nkuringo or Rushaga and check in at your forest lodge.

Activity: Gorilla Trekking
Today’s the big day! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your unforgettable gorilla trek. Guided by experienced rangers, you’ll hike through dense jungle and misty hills in search of one of the habituated gorilla families. Spend a magical hour observing their behavior, interactions, and sheer power an emotional and awe-inspiring moment.

Note: Gorilla trekking can take 2–6 hours depending on the gorilla family’s location.

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe or Kampala. Take in the vibrant roadside scenes, the rich agricultural landscape, and occasional wildlife sightings along the way. Stop for lunch en route and arrive in the evening

Sadly, your incredible Uganda adventure comes to an end. Depending on your flight time, you may have time for a short optional excursion or to relax by the lakeside. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home.
